We are now looking for a driven and committed construction engineer

As a Construction Engineer at Peab Byggservice in Jönköping/Höglandet, your role is incredibly important in elevating projects to a new level.

At Peab Byggservice, we primarily work with ongoing operations, such as maintenance and repair work. We have several framework agreements and national customer contracts, and one of our strengths is that we operate throughout the country. Another characteristic of ours is that we often perform work in occupied environments and ongoing operations, which places high demands on our flexibility and level of customer service.

About the position
As a construction engineer, you will work closely with the Site Manager and be an important link between the company and the client. You will be responsible for project planning on both a small and large scale, preparing calculations and project plans for bids, and being accountable for them. You will handle purchases, documentation, and follow-up, as well as drive and support the Site Manager in our projects, both technically and financially.

Our construction engineers are involved in the entire project and have contact with our customers, partners, and those working in our production. We value our relationships and expect you to have a strong sense of providing support and service.

The position is based in Jönköping or Nässjö.

Who are you?
You have a university degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, or have gained equivalent work experience by working in the industry for several years. You have good knowledge, especially in calculations, purchasing, project economics, project law, production, and are accustomed to expressing yourself well in both speech and writing.

The position requires you to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously. This demands your ability to work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, and that you can prioritize and meet deadlines. The position also requires you to be good at collaborating and recognizing the value of good relationships both externally and internally.

A valid driver's license (B) and access to a personal vehicle are required.
Good knowledge of calculations is highly meritorious.
